2 semaines de stage - 2 weeks of internship

Comme je l'avais senti, les choses se passent bien à la clinique. Bonne ambiance et travail intéressant, tout va bien.

As I suspected, things are going well at the clinic. Good atmosphere and interesting work, everything is ok. 

Je suis contente de rejoindre le flot des travailleurs qui prennent le métro à 8h30 et le reprennent à 18h. Étrange hein? Eh bien oui quand on a passé presque 6 mois seule chez moi à étudier mes cours tout en rêvant de ce que je ferais si je pouvais reprendre la création, oui ça fait du bien de se mêler aux gens et de passer à l'action à nouveau.
I'm glad to join the flood of workers who take the subway at 8:30 and take it again at 6 PM. Strange huh? Well yes, after spending almost six months alone at home studying my lessons while dreaming of what would I do if I could get back to jewelry creation, yes it feels good to mingle with people and take action again.
En parlant de passer à l'action, j'ai pris rendez-vous avec une coach pour m'aider à (re)trouver le chemin qui me mènera à la bijouterie. Plus le temps passe, plus ça me démange. Je me suis promis de ne pas me précipiter et je n'ai pas envie de me tromper encore alors je pense que le mieux c'est de me faire accompagner. Je la rencontre début mars. J'ai hâte!

Speaking of taking action, I made ​​an appointment with a coach to help me find (again) the way that will lead me to the jewelry. The more time passes, the more it itches. I promised not to rush and I do not want to make mistakes so I think it's better to be accompanied. I'll meet her in early March. Can't wait!

Avec le stage je n'ai pas vraiment le temps en ce moment de poursuivre et partager avec vous mes recherches et réflexions autour de la bijouterie mais je tenais à faire un petit coucou par ici. Allez encore 6 semaines de stage...

les choses avancent! (doucement mais sûrement) - Things are moving (slowly but surely)!

A nouvelle année nouveau design, j'ai envie d'un peu plus de clarté et d'un peu moins de rétro. Voici donc mon blog plus lumineux. Enjoy!

Pour ce qui est des nouvelles, j'ai enfin trouvé mon stage de secrétaire médicale. youpi!
Là ça va vraiment se concrétiser. C'est vraiment pas facile de bosser mes cours toute seule dans mon coin et d'être dans l'action me fera le plus grand bien. Surtout que je suis accueillie dans une structure à taille humaine où les gens sont plutôt sympa!
For the news, I finally found my work experience placement in a private psychiatric hospital. Yay!
That will make things more concrete. It is really hard to study all alone at home so to take action will be nice. Especially as I am welcomed in a smal structure where people seem nice!

Sinon je poursuis doucement mon étude de marché démarrée avec le post "définir la bijouterie fantaisie haut de gamme". Je passe donc beaucoup de temps à récolter des données sur internet sur le marché de la bijouterie fantaisie et je caresse l'idée d'aller à la maison de la création d'entreprise pour discuter enfin avec quelqu'un et mettre un pied (plutôt un orteil) dans ce projet.
Otherwise I continue my market study started with "trying to define costume jewelry". So I spend much time collecting data on the internet about the jewelry market and start to think of going get some advice and put one foot (rather a toe) in this project.
Même si je sais qu'il va falloir attendre quelques années avant que je sois prête, j'ai besoin de faire quelque chose de concret dans ce sens.

En parlant de concret, j'ai enfin finalisé mon plan de collection et j'ai quelques prototypes en fabrication mais chut... Je ne veux rien montrer avant d'être prête à me lancer. Petit indice: c'est tout du tissage avec des motifs très graphiques. Beaucoup plus épuré et sobre que tout ce que j'ai fait avant. Comme je disais, à nouvelle années nouveau design...

Speaking of concrete, I finally completed the plan for my new collection and have a few prototypes in manufacturing but shhh... I don't want to show anything before I am ready to start my business.

Hint: it's all beadweaving jewelry with graphic motifs. Much more clean and sober than everything I did before. Like I said above: new year, new design!
